About me, well, I joined the virtual worlds in Second Life back in April of 2003. Spent a lot of time chatting, dancing and just hanging out for the first couple of years.

Then came along Mesh! I've been doing 3D modeling starting with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, so I knew my way around 3DS Max. I was finally able to create things in SL. I was no pro at prim building. Honestly, I sucked at it. But give me a good 3D program and I'm in business!

SL got to be a bit clickish and drama ridden so I followed my lovely wife over to InWorldz where we really let the mesh uploads fly. We built quite a collection.

I got turned onto the server side of things when I came across the Halcyon source code. At first it boggled me and I had a few false starts over the span of a year or so. Then one day I muscled through it and got everything running. Thanks to the MOSES group and their notes.

I did some bug busting, and grid testing with the InWorldz folks that were working on Halcyon while I started up my own grid project. Part of the project contained the website side of things. I tried to develop a site from scratch. Let me tell ya it was slow going. Not being a coder by nature it was pretty much hunt and peck. Then I ran into Vinhold Starbrook and his wonderful MyWorld source code. We collaborated quite a bit on the pages, bug busting, feature suggestions and other such wrangling.

I had to take a break for a while due to some life events. After things settled down I was looking for a project or something to get into. There was Halcyon again. So I dusted off the old grid files, pulled up a new version of the MyWorld source and here we are today.

About me, well, I joined the virtual worlds in Second Life back in December of 2007. Like Sonja I spent a lot of time chatting, dancing and just hanging out for the first couple of years.

Back then I wasn't one to spend money on a game. So things like hair, clothes, shoes, ect.. were not things I was able to get easy or that looked nice. So I started creating my own. I was decent at photoshop so I figured I could give it a shot. I was instantly hooked! I loved being able to create my own designs and it barely costed me anything to make them. Best part was I no longer looked the part of the newbie. lol

From there things seemed to do pretty well for me. I opened up my own little clothing shop and made just enough money to keep making more clothes.
After a couple years I started getting more and more immersed into the virtual worlds. Even had a stint in Avination for a bit. Still ended up back in SL for all the resources they had. Eventually I wasn't satisfied with just making clothes anymore since just like them everything costed to much for me to buy, So I started DJ'n to help make some $ for my shopping habits. From there I became more than a clothing designer. I was Doing clothes, trinkets, builds, DJ'n and an estate manager on what was once a great sim.

Alas it wasn't meant to last.. SL got to be a bit drama ridden so I followed a friend over to InWorldz where we just explored for a bit but again eventually sticking it out SL. It wasn't until a couple years later when everything seemed to come to a head and I suggested to my amazing wife that we could check out InWorldz together and hopefully find a better home.

IW (InWorldz) had grown alot since I was there last so we stayed and things really took off for us. We were able to buy a few sims and start our own community. With mesh in full swing we were able to create just about everything on those sims.

But again it wasn't meant to last. We had to take a break for a while due to some life events. After everything settled down again my wife was looking for a project or something to get into. There was Halcyon again. So she dusted off the old grid files, pulled up a new version of the MyWorld source and here we are today.

My amazing wife is brilliant working on the coding side of things. It's all gibberish to me. I myself love the creating, designing, building & landscaping of all the sims we have. Of course with the help of Sonja since she is the better 3DS user than me.

Come in take a look around. We love people around and of course having any feedback just helps make things better!
